Editing in Lightroom
This material was presented in a 2-class session in August of 2019. The material is divided into two parts with associated practice images.
Part 1 covers basic use of the sliders in the Develop panel. These are typically Global adjustment tools that affect the entire image.
Part 2 covers the use of the more advanced tools for Local adjustments - brush tool, spot removal, graduated filters, etc. Also covered are B&W conversion methods and the use of presets.
In part 2 we touch lightly on the use of Photoshop for compositing, content aware fill, panaromics and HDR creation.
The full set of files and related practice images are available at the bottom of this page. Please download them to your computer for review and reference.
Note that the Image files are quite large, totaling about 800 MB in all. They may take a long time to download, depending on the speed of your internet connection. Once downloaded, they must be unzipped (expanded) to generate the individual image files.
